At a point in time, some people experience  disrupted growth in hair, creating hair loss. Hair growth can be disrupted due to a variety of medical reasons such as alopecia, cancer, hormones and dermatological, just to name a few. 

I create custom Cranial Prosthesis as well as other types of Non-Surgical Hair Replacement integration systems including hair extensions and microlinks.

Hair by design  is a necessary protection for the body. Some medically can not risk exposing themselves to the polluted environment in which we live. 

When hair loss occurs individuals are in need of whats called a "Cranial Prosthesis" or Non-Surgical Hair Replacement. Unlike a wig, a Cranial Prosthesis is a customized unit created for a specific individual with a non-itching, non-scarring base. It is then attached using medical grade adhesive. Patients typically go through about 2 per calendar year. 

When Cranial Prosthesis are being created, I take into consideration the hair loss issue, the need for a doctor to access the scalp for continued medical treatment, chemotherapy treatment and any other sensitivity issues. 

A mold of the head is created and measurements are taken. Units can last for about 6 months.
